Randy joined the Lads in May of 1980 and sang lead fro the group until May of 1982. He went on to serve in several located ministry positions and in 2000 he and his wife DJ moved to a small ranch in the Montana Rockies.

Randy has recorded several albums and continues to do concert work with DJ. In 2001 DJ was critically injured when hit by a car. She was not expected to live, and only due to answered prayers of thousands of people nationwide did God see fit to spare her life. Today DJ is walking with 2 canes and has made a miraculous recovery.

Randy continues to lead worship in a small congregation not far from their mountain ranch and together the couple is working to build a Christian retreat together on their ranch.
